Vision

Making Disciple Who Make Disciples, Who Transform our World and who develops a Place You Can Belong.

As, members of the Christian Church and a company of regenerated persons baptized by immersion on the profession of faith in Christ, united in a covenant and the Gospel requires recognizing and accepting Christ as our sufficient rule of faith and practice in all matters of conscience and religion. Since we are saved by faith in Christ, and are baptized in the Name of the Triune God whom we serve, we are governed by His law, observe His ordinances and walk in the fellowship of His Company. Therefore, as citizens of the commonwealth of Heaven, and members of the Body of Christ, we the members of the family of the Aberdeen Bible Church believe the following:

  • One.

In the verbal and plenary inspiration of the original manuscripts of the Old and New Testaments which constitute the inerrant Word of God, and that our Bible is a trustworthy and sufficient rule of faith and practice, able to make one wise unto salvation (ll Tim. 3:16,17,11 Pet. 1:20,21, John 10:35).

  • Two.

In the manifestation of God as being three persons, coeternal, coexistent, coequal, omniscient, and omnipresent, while remaining in essence one God (John 4:245. Mark 12:30, Rev. 4:11. John 1:1, 14.10:30).

  • Three.

In the deity, virgin birth, sinless life, substitutionary death, bodily Resurrection, and imminent return of Christ (John 1:1. 1-3, Matt. 1:23, II Cor. 5:21, John 3:16, Matt. 28:17,18).

  • Four.

In the personality of the Holy Spirit by whom believers are called, regenerated, baptized, indwelt, sealed and filled for Christian service (Eph. 4:30, John 3:5-7, I Cor 12:13, john 14:26, John 15:26).

  • Five.

In the direct creation of the universe and man by God apart from any process of evolution (Gen. 1&2).

  • Six.

In the fall, total depravity and guilt of the race of Adam which for man's salvation necessitates the sovereign divinely initiated deliverance of the sinner by the Grace of God in Christ Jesus the Lord as Savior, whose Blood was shed for the remission of sin, (John 3:16,18,36, Eph. 4:30, Jude 1:25).

  • Seven.

In the unity of all true believers of the church which is the universal Body of Christ (Eph. 1:22,23, Col. 1:18).

  • Eight.

In the local church as a company of regenerated, baptized Believers, (its officers being pastors, elders, and deacons) independent and self-governing whose responsibility is to observe the Christian ordinances, edify and evangelize the world (I Cor. 1:1-13,Acts2:41,42, I Cor. 11:23-34).

  • Nine.

In the personal existence of angels, demons, and Satan (I Kings 19:5, Psalms 68:17, Luke 2:13, Matt4:11, Psalms 106:37, Acts 16:16, James 2:19, Luke4, Rev. 2:13).

  • Ten.

In the imminent return of the Lord Jesus to receive His own people into the joys of Heaven, and the ultimate eternal damnation of the souls of the rejecters of Christ in the lake of fire (I Cor 15:51-53, I Thes 4:16-18, Rev. 20:11-15).

  • Eleven.

In the everlasting and eternal blessedness, bliss and joy of all those who are in Jesus Christ our Lord (Rev. 21 &22, Matt. 5:22, Luke 12:5).

Together, these beliefs unite us in our purpose to worship God, grow in faith, and share His love with the world.
