Message from Our Pastor

Thanks for taking the time to visit the Aberdeen Bible Church website. I pray that you are doing well and supported by the Spirit. John put it (3 John 1:2 – NIV) “Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.”

As you look through our web site I pray that you feel our heart concerning what I believe should be the hallmark of every church and what we are striving for here at Aberdeen Bible Church. We are a church that invites people of every culture into a relationship built around Faith, Hope and Love. I personally believe that we should be a church which clearly reaches the lost and ministers the love of Christ to them. We should provide hope to individuals who face uncertain futures and often find it hard to have faith in a world of chaos and uncertainties. A church which provides hope that there is and will be a brighter tomorrow, as we believe that Christ Jesus brings that reality to lives He touches.

We look to create a nurturing environment for those who become members of ABC or who visit with ABC. A place where there is “Time to Heal” and “Space to Grow”. Sharing the word of God so that believers are provided with the necessary resources to develop and grow.

Our mission statement reflects our Goal as a church. That is what we believe Christ taught that we should be accomplishing as a body of believers. We should have a heart to share the life of Christ with those we come in contact with as we live out and share our faith; secondly we should teach those individuals about the Life of Christ and thirdly we should share our lives with them in fellowship. I believe these constitute the great commandments focused in the Bible – “Love God with all your being”, “Love others as you Love yourself” and “Go and Make Disciples.”

As a church we continue to “bind up the broken heart to set free the captives”, and we believe both physically, spiritually and emotionally. Therefore, we seek to reach out and touch lives in various environments and in different ways to share our lives and the life of Christ.
