Be it the heartfelt petition of Hannah for a child or the repentant prayer of David, scripture is replete with examples of open and vulnerable communication with God. And why not, God knows the words of our heart whether we voice them or not.

Where do you run when in trouble, danger or under pursuit by your enemies. While other things or people may provide a temporary safe feeling, God is the only true refuge and safe place where we find rest and peace.

When God doesn’t answer our prayers when or how we want Him to, we begin to believe the lies of the enemy that says God doesn’t hear us or even worse, that He doesn’t care. We must combat these lies with the truth of God’s Word.

Do you justify your lack of repentance for sinful actions because ‘God knows your heart’? God requires repentance for our benefit – not His. Having a repentant heart opens the door for transformation as well as divine and human reconciliation.

To have victory in battle, you must employ the proper weaponry. Spiritual battles require spiritual weapons – and each piece of armor is designed for a specific purpose.

A walking prayer life is one that puts action to the faith that is professed. What has God told you that you have been sitting on? God has not given you a spirit of fear. Trust God as you walk into bold new territories through bold prayers and bold movements in Christ.

Because God had you on His mind even before He created the world, not seeking His desires for you is foolish at best. God wants you to obtain all that He has planned to give you in this life and the next. Since no eye has seen or no ear has heard, we must stick close to Christ, so His plan is revealed to us.
