Our Missions Ministry is dedicated to sharing the message of Jesus Christ both locally and globally. We believe in serving others and spreading hope through acts of compassion, support, and evangelism.

What We Do

Local Outreach: Engaging with our community through food drives, support for local shelters, and youth programs.

Support and Prayer: Providing financial aid, resources, and prayer support for missionaries and mission projects worldwide.

Meet Our Missions Administrator

EDNA JOHNSON

Edna Johnson was born December 1961 in Sumter, SC, the youngest of 5. She moved to New York in 1980 where she worked as a Sr. Executive Assistant Macy's Corporate Headquarters for 13 years and Ross Dress for Less Corporate Headquarter for 17 years. She was married for 32 years to James until his death in 2022. She has one son Jr, a bonus daughter (Nene) and granddaughter (Angel).

Edna moved to Maryland in 2010 where she worked as General Manager for Liberty Tax Service as well as Assistant Store Manager at Dollar Tree. She initially visited Aberdeen Bible Church when her son was being baptized. After visiting several churches in the area as well as ABC, she recognized that Aberdeen Bible Church spoke to her, and she became a member in 2017. She loves being a part of the Women's Ministry. She currently serves as Administrator of the Mission Ministry and ICO Site Coordinator for the VITA Tax program. Edna loves helping people in any way that she can with God's help. Her favorite scripture is Psalms 23.
